Certificates’ Application

Please Note: These are not applications to a degree program at the FIU. Students desiring admission to a degree program must fill out an Admission Application with the Office of Admissions.

To apply for the Undergraduate Certificate in Dispute and Conflict Resolution or for the Undergraduate Certificate in Labor Studies:

1. Complete application form:

2. Submit the completed application to the Labor Center to be signed by the Director of Academic Programs. If you are a fully online student, you may mail the application to the Labor Center or email the completed application to jbernier@fiu.edu  

3. Submit the signed application to the Office of Registrar

To apply for the Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Consensus Building:

Eligibility

Undergraduate Certificate in Dispute and Conflict Resolution or Certificate in Labor Studies

  • Students currently enrolled in a FIU Bachelor’s degree program
  • Students with a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited university may enroll as a non-degree seeking student and complete the undergraduate certificates.

Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Consensus Building

  • Students currently enrolled in a FIU Master's or Doctoral degree program
  • Students with a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited university may enroll as a non-degree seeking student and complete the graduate certificate.

Costs

Please Note: Each certificate application has a $30.00 non-refundable processing fee.
